gravy
cranberry sauce, from a can (unfortunately)
wild rice
stuffing, wrapped in puff pastry
Parmesan and chive potatoes
pineapple and chedder casserole (sounds gross, but my family almost revolted when it was suggested we take it out)
green beans
rolls
macaroni and cheese (we are big on carbs in this family)
squash casserole
pumpkin pie
pecan caramel cake
red velvet cake (a little dry this year)
cookies (chocolate chip and oatmeal butterscotch)
fudge
pecan pie (complete with discussion on pronunciation of "pecan" - it is pee-CAN, like a can of food)
vanilla bean ice cream
Yes, I ate all of the above.
Did I overindulge?
It is Thanksgiving, you decide.

I am SO happy that you listed macaroni and cheese! I have recently encountered several individuals who do not consider it a traditional Thanksgiving side! WHAT CRAZIES!
youre a fatty, this we know.
Laura~
Mac n cheese is a definite staple. But only the real cheesy homemade kind. YUM!
to all the anonymous commentors out there...I may have an idea of who you are, but do you really feel it is necessary to insult me behind the cloak of anonymity? Show thyself!
This is why you are a growing beast...
That is a crime against humanity for the roomies to try to get you to not overindulge on turkey day. I eat a lot, however, if more than one bite of each was taken then I don't see how you couldn't. Also time must be taken into consideration. I'm pretty much a sprinter when it comes to eating, however, all that is do-able on marathon mode. Now is it pineapple and chedder, or is it pineapple casserole and chedder casserole, because we have a pineapple casserole that is really good.
On a final note, happy thanksgiving my long lost friend

Never done the whole Mac 'N Cheese thing on Thanksgiving but it sounds great. I might suggest for next year.
Looks like you followed Jack's guidelines to eating healthy over thanksgiving. I mean you know I did! haha.
My family always has apples and cheese on the platter. Not quite pineapples and cheese, but close. :-P
Also this year we had sweet potato rolls. Dunno if that's too unusual but I've never tried them before at least.
deef~
It is pineapple and chedder all together in one crazy casserole. It also involves a little sugar, flour, butter and Ritz crackers on top. I think it delights most people from the unexpectedness and unique ingredients.
Jesse~
I will surely be twittering later.
Brad~
I highly recommend the Thanksgiving mac and cheese.
Lauren~
I had my own guidelines to follow.
